Welcome to UKR Experts, an information portal of expert opinions. We take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit our website, https://ukrexperts.com.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitors’ IP addresses and the user’s browser agent string to help us detect spam. An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
1.2 Media files
If you upload images to the site, please avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the site.
1.3 Cookies
If you leave a comment on our website, you can enable the storage of your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your information again when you leave another comment. These cookies will be stored for 1 year.
If you have an account on the site and you log in, we will set a temporary cookie to verify that your browser supports cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set a few cookies to save your login information and screen settings. The login cookies are stored for 2 days and the screen settings cookies are stored for 1 year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will be stored for 2 weeks. If you log out of your account, your login cookies will be deleted.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your web browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data and simply indicates the ID of the article you have just edited. It expires in 1 day.
1.4 Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may contain embedded content (for example, videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if you were visiting another site. Those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embedded third-party tracking applications, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that site.
2. Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Your data collected on the site is not transferred to third parties.
3. How long we keep your data
If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This way, we can automatically identify and approve each subsequent comment instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our site (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
4. What rights do you have in relation to your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you may request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You may also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal and security purposes.
5. Where your data is sent to
Visitors’ comments can be checked using an automatic spam detection service.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page and you will be notified of any material changes. Please check this page periodically for the latest updates.
